When you open a sales report on your ArcadePay dashboard, two columns tell the story of the stop: Cashless and Coins/Cash. They are not the same thing — and mixing them up makes location settlements harder than they need to be.
Here is the plain reading so you can trust the numbers before you export them for your accountant.

What Each Column Covers
| Column | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Cashless | Payments through ArcadePay — cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other digital wallets. |
| Coins / Cash | Every play triggered by a physical pulse from the machine — quarters, $1 bills, $5 bills, $10 bills, $20 bills — all combined. |
The dashboard counts plays from the pulse signal. Coin pulses and bill-acceptor pulses look identical to the system — both are just a pulse — so dollar bills roll up under Coins/Cash alongside quarters. There is no separate bills-only column.
If you need bill-only totals, compare the bill acceptor counter on the machine itself against the Coins/Cash total in the report.
Export a Clean Monthly Total
- Open the ArcadePay dashboard and go to Reports → Transactions.
- Set the date range to the month (or period) you need.
- Make sure both Cash and Cashless are selected in the filters.
- Review the summary totals at the top of the report.
- Use Export to download the file for your records or your accountant.
The Transactions export includes combined cash and cashless activity. Prefer this export over a Per Machine download when you want a full monthly picture.
See Earnings and Fees on Cashless
To review what you earned and what fees applied for card and wallet sales:
- Stay on Reports → Transactions.
- Set your date range.
- Open the Cashless tab.
- Read the fee breakdown on each transaction, and the totals at the top.
Export from here when you want a cashless-only file for bookkeeping.
Two Quick Gotchas
- Cash lines that look like "$7.00 / 3 combined coins" — the dashboard groups nearby pulses into a denomination estimate. Click the bill icon on that row to see the raw pulse breakdown.
- "Unknown" in the payment method column — usually means the guest typed a card number instead of tapping Apple Pay, Google Pay, or a contactless card. Tap methods pass a clearer identifier.
The Takeaway
Read Cashless as digital wallet and card revenue. Read Coins/Cash as every physical pulse — coins and bills together. Export from Reports → Transactions with both filters on, then use the Cashless tab when you need fees. That is enough for a clean monthly close.
