Play packages are what guests see on the checkout page: the name, the price, and how many credits the machine actually gives. You can change all three from the ArcadePay dashboard without touching the hardware.
This is the same screen you use after an install, a price change, or when a guest paid but the machine did not credit.
Open the Machine, Then Open Products
In the ArcadePay dashboard, go to Machines, open the controller you want, and tap Products. On a computer that tab is labeled Products & Pricing. The fields are the same. The layout is just a little different on a phone.
Find the package you want. Use the pencil next to the name and the pencil next to the price. On a phone, open Options on that package to edit Pulses. On a computer, Pulses sits on the card.
There is no Save button. Each pencil commits that field as soon as you confirm it. Tap Preview when you are done so you can see the checkout page the guest will see.
Price and Pulses Are Two Different Things
The dollar amount is what the customer pays. Pulses is what the machine credits. Changing the price does not change the pulses.
On a quarter machine, pulses usually equal plays times four, including any free play you advertise. A common setup looks like this:
- 2 Plays at $2.00 → 8 pulses
- 3 Plays at $3.00 → 12 pulses
- 6 Plays with 1 free play at $5.00 → 24 pulses
- 12 Plays with 2 free plays at $10.00 → 48 pulses
If you want to drop the bonus on that $5 option, change pulses to 20 and rename the package so the checkout page matches what the machine will actually do.
Token machines are usually one pulse per play. If you are not sure which count your floor uses, email us before you guess.
What Not to Tap
A few controls on that screen look like edits. They are not.
- The purple down arrow is a test play. It fires credits to the machine. It does not open the package for editing.
- The red trash can deletes the package.
- Pulse (Pulse Settings on a computer) is timing and wiring. It is not the package list.
- On a computer, skip Products & Pricing in the left sidebar. That is not the per-machine tab.
Several Machines of the Same Type
If one machine is already correct, copy those settings onto the others instead of editing every package by hand. Copy only to the same machine type. Do not copy a quarter setup onto a token machine, or a prize or locker setup onto a game that does not have those options.
If a Payment Went Through and the Machine Did Not Credit
Check Pulses first. A common miss is the price looking right while pulses are still set for a different package. The guest paid $5. The machine still sent eight pulses. Fix the pulse count, then send a test play from the dashboard to confirm.

Name, price, and pulses are three separate fields. Edit them on the machine, preview checkout, and confirm the credits match the offer on the screen.
