How to Get NFC Stickers for Your ArcadePay Controller

ArcadePay stickers now include an NFC chip. When a customer holds their phone near the sticker, the payment page opens automatically — no need to scan a QR code. It works with any NFC-enabled iPhone or Android phone.

New Orders

All new ArcadePay Controllers ship with the updated NFC sticker set included. No additional action is needed — just apply the sticker to your machine after installation.

Existing Customers

If you already have ArcadePay devices and would like the new NFC stickers, they will be available to existing customers within approximately 4 weeks. Sticker sets for existing devices are assigned manually, so you will need to contact support to request them.

To request NFC stickers for your existing devices:

  1. Email ops@arcadepay.app with the subject line NFC Stickers Request
  2. Include the email address on your ArcadePay account and the number of devices you have
  3. We will add you to the queue and ship your sticker set as soon as they are available

How NFC Tap-to-Pay Works

When the NFC sticker is applied to your machine:

  • A customer holds their phone near the sticker (no app required)
  • The ArcadePay payment page opens automatically in their browser
  • They can pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay, credit or debit card, PayPal, Venmo, or Amazon Pay
  • Once the payment is confirmed, credits are added to the machine
The QR code on the sticker still works for customers whose phones do not support NFC, or who prefer to scan.

Can I Apply My Own NFC Sticker?

Please do not add third-party NFC tags to your machine. Only the official ArcadePay sticker is configured to open the correct payment page for your device. An unofficial tag could send customers to the wrong page or fail to open at all.
