Supported Machines — Does ArcadePay Work on My Machine?

ArcadePay Controllers are designed to work with a wide range of amusement, vending, and skill-prize machines. Here is how to check if your machine is compatible.

Arcade and Amusement Machines

ArcadePay was built for the amusement industry. It works with:

  • Claw machines (most major brands including Neofuns, Smart Industries, Elaut)
  • Skill-prize and redemption machines
  • Pinball machines (via pulse or MDB connection)
  • Video arcade games with coin door/bill validator
  • Locker box systems and token dispensers
If your machine accepts coins or bills and has a coin mech or bill validator, ArcadePay can likely connect to it.

Vending Machines (Drink, Snack, and Combo)

Yes — ArcadePay Controllers work with vending machines that have an MDB cashless connector.

What is an MDB connector? MDB (Multi-Drop Bus) is the standard interface for cashless payment devices on commercial vending machines. Most modern drink, snack, and combo vending machines — including FUTURE brand machines — have an MDB port built in. How to check: Look for a rectangular multi-pin connector inside the machine's coin mech area, usually labeled "MDB," "DEX," or "Cashless." If you see it, your machine is likely compatible. Not sure? Send us photos. If you are unsure whether your machine is compatible, email a few photos of the machine's interior (coin mech area and connector) to ops@arcadepay.app. We will confirm compatibility before you order.
Note: We do not currently have a demo installation video for vending machines. Our support team can walk you through the setup via email or a quick call.

Machines We Do Not Currently Support

  • Machines with no coin mech or bill validator and no cashless port
  • Proprietary closed-loop systems that block third-party cashless devices
  • Machines requiring a different cashless protocol (e.g., S2 DEX-only without MDB)
If you are unsure, ask before ordering — we would rather confirm compatibility first than have you receive a unit that does not fit your machine.
