Cash Totals Look Wrong After a Collection? Check This Reports Filter

You emptied the cash box, tapped Mark Collection, and opened Reports — then the cash total looked way too low. That usually is not missing data. It is the date filter doing exactly what you asked.

On your ArcadePay dashboard, Since last collection only shows activity after the mark you just made. Right after a pickup, that window is nearly empty on purpose.

What Mark Collection Actually Does

Mark a collection when you empty the cash box — not on a calendar date. It starts a new collection window so the next stop’s “since last collection” total matches the cash you just pulled.

It does not delete history. Older cash and cashless activity stay in Reports under broader ranges like Last 7 days or Last 30 days.

How to See Full Totals Again

  1. Open your ArcadePay dashboard and go to Reports.
  2. Open the period (date range) control.
  3. If it says Since last collection, switch to a broader range such as Last 30 days, or pick custom dates that cover the month you need.
  4. Use Both, Cash, or Cashless filters as needed.

Want the pickup total before you mark? On the machine’s Dashboard tab, open Cashlevel Box and read Since Last Collection first — then mark. That number is the one to match against the box.

  1. Machines → open the machine by name or sticker ID.
  2. Confirm Connected under Basic Information.
  3. Cashlevel: note Since Last Collection → count the box → Mark Collection.
  4. Optional: reset prize wins if a prize sensor is installed.
  5. In Reports, use Since last collection only when you want the new window — switch away when you need longer history.
