You restock a claw, come back a week later, and wonder how many prizes actually went out. Guessing from an empty bin works, but there is an easier way. If your machine has a prize sensor connected, your ArcadePay dashboard counts every prize for you.
Here is how to read that count, when to reset it, and how to make it part of every stop.
What You Need: A Prize Sensor
Prize Count works when the machine's prize sensor is connected to your ArcadePay Controller, typically on Pulse 2. Machines with the current 6-pin CandyMachines or Neofuns connector can report prize wins when the machine hardware supports it. On a hardwire install, the pink wire is pulse 2, often used for the prize sensor when the machine has one.
If you installed with the Easy Coin Mechanism Connector and there is no prize sensor, Prize Count simply stays at 0. That is expected. Your cash and cashless reporting still work normally.
Step 1: Open the Machine
In your ArcadePay dashboard, go to Machines, search by name or the ID on the ArcadePay sticker, and open the machine. Stay on the Dashboard tab and check Basic Information to confirm it is the right machine and it shows Connected.
Step 2: Read Prize Count
Scroll to the Prize Count section. With the period set to Since Last Reset, you will see Total Prizes Dispensed since you last reset the counter, plus when the Last Prize Dispensed came out.

Write that number down (or snap a photo) before you do anything else. It is your record of what the machine paid out since your last visit.
Step 3: Tap Reset Counter
Once you have noted the wins and restocked, tap Reset Counter. Your next visit starts from a clean count, so the number you see next time is exactly what went out between stops.
Resetting prizes does not change your cash totals and does not mark a collection. The two are separate on purpose.
Build It Into Every Service Stop
A simple order keeps cash and prizes from getting mixed up:
- Open the machine and confirm Connected.
- Cashlevel Box → Since Last Collection: count the box, then tap Mark Collection.
- Prize Count: note the wins, restock, then tap Reset Counter.
Want a bigger picture across your route? Prizes dispensed data is also available under Reports in your dashboard.

The Takeaway
With a prize sensor connected, your ArcadePay dashboard does the counting. Note Prize Count at each stop, restock, tap Reset Counter, and you will always know what each machine gave out between visits.
