Step 1: Have Your Partner Get Set Up First
The receiving operator needs an active ArcadePay account before a controller can move to it. Point them to arcadepay.app/onboard to complete onboarding. Once their account is active, you are ready for the hand-off.
Step 2: Gather the Device IDs
Find each controller's device ID in your ArcadePay dashboard under Machines → Settings, or on the label on the back of the controller. Moving several? Collect them all so you can send one request.
Step 3: Send One Email
Email ops@arcadepay.app with:
- Your name and account email
- The device ID(s) to transfer
- The receiving operator's name and account email
Once both accounts are confirmed active, ArcadePay moves the device to the new operator's account and confirms by email.
Step 4: Your Partner Makes It Their Own
After the transfer, the new operator opens their own dashboard and:
- Renames the machine to its location so it is easy to find.
- Sets their play packages and pricing.
- Sends a quick test to confirm everything is ready for guests.
No hardware changes are needed. The physical controller stays on the machine and connects to the new account after the transfer.
