Free Play And Test Plays

Use free play or a small test product when confirming that a machine credits correctly.

Open Products & Pricing, then use the purple down arrow under the product option you want to test.

When To Use It

  • Testing a new install
  • Confirming a pulse count
  • Checking a machine after service
  • Verifying copied settings

How To Trigger A Test Play

  1. Open the dashboard.
  2. Go to Machines.
  3. Search for and open the machine you are testing.
  4. Open Products & Pricing. On mobile this may be labeled Pricing.
  5. Find the product you want to test.
  6. Click the purple down arrow under that product option.
  7. Trigger the free play or test action.

What To Check

  1. Confirm the machine receives the right number of credits.
  2. Confirm the customer checkout page still shows the intended products.
  3. When testing is done, return the machine to normal paid pricing.

Important

Do not leave a machine in free play unless that is intentional for the location. When the test is done, return to Products & Pricing and reverse the change so customers see the normal paid options.
