Free Play And Test Plays
Use free play or a small test product when confirming that a machine credits correctly.
When To Use It
- Testing a new install
- Confirming a pulse count
- Checking a machine after service
- Verifying copied settings
How To Trigger A Test Play
- Open the dashboard.
- Go to Machines.
- Search for and open the machine you are testing.
- Open Products & Pricing. On mobile this may be labeled Pricing.
- Find the product you want to test.
- Click the purple down arrow under that product option.
- Trigger the free play or test action.
What To Check
- Confirm the machine receives the right number of credits.
- Confirm the customer checkout page still shows the intended products.
- When testing is done, return the machine to normal paid pricing.
Important
Do not leave a machine in free play unless that is intentional for the location. When the test is done, return to Products & Pricing and reverse the change so customers see the normal paid options.
