Growing Your Route? Your Checklist for Adding More ArcadePay Controllers

Adding machines is one of the best signs your route is working. Maybe a location asked for a second claw, or you picked up a new stop and want every cabinet taking cashless from day one. Good news: when you already have an ArcadePay account, adding controllers is a short checklist, not a fresh start.

Here is how to go from order to earning on your new machines with as little friction as possible.

1. Order Your Additional Controllers

Add controllers to your cart on the ArcadePay website and enter Promo Code ACPAYX at checkout. It works for existing operators adding units, not just new customers, and you do not need to contact support first. See Pricing and Billing Basics for the current details, including when billing starts on new units.

2. No Need to Redo Onboarding

After a new order, you may get an automatic welcome or reminder email. That email goes out on every new order, so do not worry. Your existing account is already active, and you do not need to fill out the full onboarding form again. The new controllers are added to the account you already have.

If ArcadePay sends a short form to confirm shipping or machine details for the new devices, a quick reply is all it takes. Letting us know which machines the controllers are for helps everything line up when they arrive.

3. Power Up and Watch Them Appear

When the controllers arrive, power them on. A good habit is to power on a controller at home before you go on-site. On first boot, a controller can take up to 10 to 15 minutes to connect. After that, the new devices should show up under Machines in your ArcadePay dashboard, right alongside the machines you already run.

4. Set Pricing Fast with Copy Config

Copy Config lives on the Machines page.

Every new device needs its price settings confirmed. If your new machines are priced and wired like one you already run, use Copy Config: start from your known-good machine, choose the new machines as targets, and confirm. Then open one of the new machines and check Products & Pricing and the pulse count.

Set machines up individually when they differ, such as quarters versus tokens, a bill reader on one and not the other, or different play packages.

5. Run a Quick Test Before You Leave

Scan the QR code on each new machine to confirm the payment page loads, then run a small test payment or test play to make sure the credit lands. Our guide to verifying your controller and payment page walks through it.

The Takeaway

Expanding with ArcadePay is quick: order with ACPAYX, skip the repeat onboarding form, power up, copy settings from a machine you trust, and test. Your new machines join the same dashboard you already know, so your whole route stays in one place.

If a new controller does not show up under Machines within 15 minutes of first power-on, or you want a second set of eyes on pricing, email ops@arcadepay.app with your account email and we will help.
