Ignore Cash In Reporting

Use Ignore in Cash Counting when you intentionally want a pulse input excluded from cash counts. Cashless sales keep reporting normally — only the cash pulse totals for that input stop accumulating.

The setting lives under Advanced Options on the pulse you want excluded (usually Pulse 1).

When It Helps

  • Removing test cash or coin activity from reports
  • Excluding a pulse input that should not count as cash income
  • Keeping reports cleaner for machines where cash counting is not relevant

How To Turn It On

  1. Open the ArcadePay dashboard.
  2. Go to Machines.
  3. Search for and open the machine.
  4. Open Pulse Settings.
  5. Under Pulse 1 (or the pulse to exclude), expand Advanced Options.
  6. At the bottom, check Ignore in Cash Counting.

Unchecked by default. This is a per-pulse setting — enable it on each pulse config you want excluded.

Before You Change It

Confirm which pulse input the machine uses for cash or credits. The wrong change can make reports confusing.
