Move Your ArcadePay Controller to a Different Machine
You can relocate an ArcadePay Controller from one machine to another yourself in just a few minutes. Your pricing, settings, and registration carry over automatically — no changes are needed on ArcadePay's end for a same-account move.
What You Need
- Your ArcadePay Controller (already registered and active on your account)
- A spare QR sticker (included with your original order) for the new machine
- 2–3 minutes
Steps
- Power off the original machine and unplug the ArcadePay Controller from the coin mechanism connector.
- Plug the controller into the new machine using the same connector type (Easy Connect or hardwire, depending on your setup).
- Peel a fresh QR sticker from your spare set and apply it to the new machine where customers can easily scan it. Do not leave the old sticker as the only scan target on a cabinet that no longer has that controller.
- Power on the new machine. Because the controller is already registered to your account, it reconnects automatically — typically within about 15 seconds.
- Optional — rename the machine in your ArcadePay dashboard. Go to Machines, expand the device, and edit the machine name to match the new location.
Your existing prices, products, and pulse settings carry over automatically. No action is needed on ArcadePay's end.
After You Move
- Confirm the controller shows Online under Machines.
- Scan the new QR sticker and confirm the payment page loads with your buy options.

Still Need Help?
If the controller does not reconnect after a few minutes, try unplugging it from machine power, waiting 10 seconds, and plugging it back in.
